Suggestive boat tour starting from Castro, sailing to Santa Cesarea Terme, to discover sea caves along one of the most beautiful coastlines in Italy. During the tour there are two rest stops: one in the bay of Porto Miggiano and one in the sulfuric caves.
The caves of Salento are authentic treasures hidden for centuries and visit them is a unique experience. One is the cave of Palombara, inaccessible by land, with walls of more than 60 meters high swooping over the sea, with the characteristic emerald green color captures the attention of every visitor thanks to the presence of some specimens of falcons and kestrels. Later we can admire the cave of the Rotondella with its two small entrances, the Romanelli cave, on whose walls graffiti was found. At the end of the cave is the Striare cave that tells stories of magic and the Blue Grotto from which it takes its name because of its intense color thanks to the continuous refraction of light. But the most famous and visited by tourists is the famous cave of Zinzulusa, one of the most fascinating and spectacular caves of Salento with a sea view, located about 3 km from Castro. It was discovered in 1973 and is more than 150 meters long and looks like a large mouth 15 meters high. The excursion ends with the sea view of Santa Cesarea Terme and return to Castro.
